I talked to my husband about my concerns and my problem, and we found that the answer lies in the scriptures: "Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;" (Matthew 5:44)
Now, these people aren't necessarily my enemies, but the same lesson applies. We need to love everyone, despite their weaknesses and flaws, and we need to pray for them and seek to help bless their lives and make them better.
My printable today is a quote by Mother Theresa: "If you judge people, you have no time to love them."
I believe this is true. As I have changed my perspective and started praying for the people that I was judging, I have grown to love them and have stronger desires to serve them. I am so grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ that has taught me to overcome my own weaknesses.
Have you ever caught yourself in the trap of judging others?
