Sweet Summer Printables - Fruits of the Season

I love summer. I love being outside with my kids, eating watermelon, and feeling the warmth of the sun on my skin. I love seeing my daughter get more and more tan as she runs around in the green grass and makes new friends at the park. I love taking walks with my babies and hearing the birds chirp....sigh. Happy me.

Since I am experiencing summer bliss, I want to make YOUR summer even brighter with these free "Sweet Summer" citrus party printables! These printables were originally created for my good friend, Christine, over at I Dig Pinterest. She has tons of other great summer ideas on her blog, so head over and tell her hi and check out her site. Let us know how you decide to use these this summer--we'd love to hear!

This free download includes a "Summer" pennant banner, water bottle labels (which can also be used as napkin rings), and cupcake toppers.

Because fruit is one of my favorite summer treats, I'd like to share some of my favorite scriptures that use the words "fruit" or "sweet" in them:

Psalms 119:103 says, "How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!"

Alma 32:42 says, "And because of your diligence and your faith and your patience with the word in nourishing it, that it may take root in you, behold, by and by ye shall pluck the fruit thereof, which is most precious, which is sweet above all that is sweet, and which is white above all that is white, yea, and pure above all that is pure; and ye shall feast upon this fruit even until ye are filled, that ye hunger not, neither shall ye thirst."

John 15:2 says, "Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit."

One of my goals this summer is to feast upon the fruits of season and feast upon the sweet words of the Lord.

What are you doing to taste of the fruits of the Lord this summer?

  1. I wanted to thank you so much Nikki for the beautiful printables. I have to admit I looked at some of other ones you share and had to download them. It is very generous of you to share your hard work. I applaud you being able to make things like this on the computer. I think I'm digitally challenged.
I had made a beachy/summer flag but something was missing, when I saw your gorgeous citrus printables I knew what I would do with them. The banner is perfect for my flag. Thank you so much. Happy summer.

  2. I can't seem to download these. Is there a trick?

    1. Hi Ann--sorry you are having problems downloading them! There is a link at the bottom of the post below the last photo, and it should take you to Google Docs and from there you can select to download them. If you are still having problems, send me an email at ldsprintables@gmail and I'll email them to you directly! Thanks again!

  3. These are great! Thank you for creating them. :)
